Welcome to Ewoks.com! These Terms of Service (“Terms,” “the Treaty of Endor”) govern your use of the Ewoks.com website and services (collectively, “the Village”). By accessing or using Ewoks.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must cease using the platform — though we'll miss you around the campfire.

1. Acceptance of Terms — Signing the Treaty

By creating an account or using Ewoks.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Ewoks.com on behalf of an organization (a guild, a fan club, a secret Ewok appreciation society), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your Account — Your Tree-Hut

When you create an account on Ewoks.com, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your password and account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not share your account credentials or let another being (human, Ewok, or droid) access your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use — The Ewok Code of Honor

You agree to use Ewoks.com in accordance with our Community Guidelines and applicable law. Without limiting those guidelines, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other members' accounts
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code (consider this the equivalent of poisoning the village well)
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the platform without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

4. User Content — What You Bring to the Village

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post on Ewoks.com. Your fan art is your fan art. Your stories are your stories. Your hot takes about Wicket's tactical brilliance belong to you.

4.2 License to Ewoks.com

By posting content on Ewoks.com, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where your content has been shared by others or is reasonably needed for platform operations.

4.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Intellectual Property — Tribal Treasures

The Ewoks.com platform, including its design, logos, code, and original content, is owned by Ewoks.com and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.

Star Wars, Ewoks, and all related characters, names, and marks are trademarks and copyrights of Lucasfilm Ltd. Ewoks.com is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lucasfilm Ltd. or The Walt Disney Company.

6. Termination — Banishment from the Village

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or is harmful to the community, the platform, or third parties.

You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination or deletion:

• Your right to access and use Ewoks.com ceases immediately
• We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Content you posted may remain in anonymized form where others have interacted with it

7. Disclaimers — No Warranties from the Forest

Ewoks.com is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free (even Endor had storms)
• The content posted by users is accurate, reliable, or complete
• Any defects will be corrected in a timely manner

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability — The Shield Generator Clause

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ewoks.com and its operators, contributors, and moderators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of Ewoks.com shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, since Ewoks.com is free, is likely zero credits).

9. Indemnification — Defending the Village

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ewoks.com, its operators, moderators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution — The Council Arbitration

If a dispute arises between you and Ewoks.com, we encourage you to first contact us at council@ewoks.com to seek an informal resolution. Most disputes can be resolved faster than a speeder bike chase through the forest.

If informal resolution fails, any legal disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business, except where prohibited by law.

11. Modifications — Evolving the Treaty

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you through the platform. Your continued use of Ewoks.com after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. General Provisions — The Fine Print Carved into the Tree

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ewoks.com
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights freely — like an Ewok swinging between trees
