Lumat is one of Bright Tree Village's most physically imposing warriors, a woodcutter by trade whose daily labor has forged him into a powerhouse of Ewok strength. His dark fur and muscular build make him instantly recognizable, and his skill with an axe — both as a tool and a weapon — is unmatched in the village.

The Woodcutter's Trade

In Ewok society, the woodcutter holds a position of vital importance. The great tree-villages of Endor require constant maintenance, expansion, and repair, and it is woodcutters like Lumat who provide the raw materials that keep civilization literally standing. Lumat approaches his work with pride and precision, selecting the right trees, felling them cleanly, and shaping the timber for construction. This daily physical labor has given him an endurance and raw power that translates directly to the battlefield.

Warrior Spirit

When the Ewoks mobilized against the Imperial garrison on Endor, Lumat was among the fiercest fighters in the assault. His strength allowed him to wield weapons that other Ewoks struggled with, and his experience swinging a heavy axe through dense wood gave him a natural aptitude for close-quarters combat. He fought alongside his close friend Romba throughout the battle, the two of them forming a dependable fighting pair that anchored their section of the Ewok line.
